A Visit to the World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland) (Watanabe, Makino, Matsui, Ito)
We visited the World Health Organization (WHO) during the season of beautiful autumnal tints. The purposes of our visit were to discuss: 1) 2nd Global Forum on HRH, 2) WHO Collaborating Center, and 3) Mr. Lee’s activities and his future research subjects. Having managed to extensively discuss these three issues with the WHO staff, our visit proved fruitful.
With regard to the 2nd Global Forum on HRH, through our discussions with the WHO and JICA staff, we received suggestions to make the Global Forum sessions more specific and effective.
We also discussed the present and future activities of Mr. Lee, who belongs to the Department of Occupational Therapy in the Graduate School of Health Sciences. The photograph shows Mr. Lee’s office in the WHO head office. Mr. Lee conducts his global research in an excellent environment. We look forward to receiving his report after returning to Japan. |
